Cricks!

Woke up with crickets in my ear and a crick in my neck. Keep trying to lift weights and jerking my neck to pop it, and I will eventually. Now, from my neck of the woods, we called a creek, a crick. And we'd dam it up in winter to sled down the mountain and cross it. But this here crick in my neck is already dammed. PIMP LOL. Sorry. Don't get a crick in your neck! I just sorta sled right into that one. Don't crickicize me. Totally meant to sleigh you. The good news is... God knows my heart. The bad news is... God knows my heart. Hope you're having a fun day. Nobody, no thing, jerking you around. We all got mountains to climb, with cricks at the bottom to cross. We see them coming. But, it's the sneaky lil cricks in the neck that make us cross and jerk us around. Photo of my replica childhood sled. Oh. And, 2 brand new vids of 2 new duo originals up the last 2 days. Stop by my profile. They may not be critically acclaimed, but they're critically claimed. By us.🤣 Signed, Crickets In Her Ear & Cricks Right Near

THE BUS STOPS! HEAR?

"THE BUS STOPS! HEAR?" So, these past months, with all this crud and coughing and stuffy, and my teeth work, I've had such chipmunk cheeks. But, then with the down time, I've had time to go thru some old photos when I was a kid. Guess what? Turns out I've always been cheeky. Bussed-sted! PIMP LOL. Hope you have an amusing Sunday. Us? Gonna try to do some music and see if we're still choking. Hope not. I'm so ready to get off the sick bus. And, get back into the uh...music-ment park. The amusing thing I realized? When I was a kid, I was such an adult. And, now that I'm an adult, I'm such a kid. Cheeky, indeed. Signed, The Lips May Speak But The Tongue's In Cheek

Pencil Me In!

Some Sunday humor & rumor from the penciled pages of my righting wrongs and writing songs life. Criticism is a funny thing. Being hip to the crit helps us not become a hip o'crit. You know? Taking it with a grain of salt. Or a speck of dust. When it comes to judging others, we tend to see the speck of dust in their eye and not the log in our own. My paraphrase? You can't see the truth for the tree, let alone the forest, in your eye, yet you see the speck of saw dust in another. Maybe we need to saw down our own forest of blindess before seeing their faults. Takes a lot of gumption to do either. Movie for this? Forest Gumption. PIMP LOL. Have a fun Sunday night and week ahead. Time to turn the page on another weekend and another chapter. Life? Pencil me in! SIgned, She Came, She Saw, She Vent

Imagine That!

I think imagination is such a cool, amazing gift from God. If we can't imagine blue velvet pumpkins or elfs and magic, or lyrics to songs, or put images to books as we read them, how could we possibly imagine Him. Imagination is born in the soul. Grows up in the mind. Real life would be hard to imagine without it. Real life. You can't make it up. Learning to make believe helps to believe. Signed, Her Imagination Is Not All In Her Head

Place Settings!

Yesterday was the dentist and a couple groceries. At the dentist, I had to have a plate in my mouth for a few minutes without gagging. The dentist said I have such a lil mouth he had to use a kid's size. Like teenie painted lips on a porcelain doll. Oh right. More like a rag doll. Haha. And, he liked that, though I have plenty I could complain about, I don't. He made my day, but I do wonder how music gets out of there? And, my mom wonders if I have a kid mouth now, how did I have an adult size mouth as a kid. PIMP LOL. And, speaking of gagging and plates and mouths, there's the grocery store... Later, after we got home, found out the cereal contained pesticides and the ground chuck was recalled for ecoli. Yummy. A nutha store trip today to return. No complaints. I'm up for a mutha, I mean a nutha day, so my lips speak thanks. Mostly... Oh. BTW? Anybody remember the saying "gag me with a spoon"? Well, when things are really disgusting or tough or throwup-y, I say, "gag me with a whole place setting"! Hope you have a fun day. We all have things we could complain about, I guess. Complain or come pray'n. Some days, my rare health issues gag me with a whole place setting, but unless there's a gag order issued from above, I won't stop trying to sing and laugh. Neither should you. Signed, She Knows Her Place In Every Setting

Be Still To Still Be!

Occasionally, you must be still in order to still be. Yes, I have been quite sick with a very bad pneumonia these past 6 weeks. My husband and I both. Amd, we lost a dear friend to it. Will catch up on some posts this week as I am finally seeing some improvement. Had to be still for a bit. But, now it's time to move. Signed, She Writes To Fight
