THE SUFFER BUFFER

“THE SUFFER BUFFER!” What? No one ever plans to suffer. Or, ever wants anyone around them to suffer with them. Well, maybe a few evil people do sit down and make plans for others to suffer, but, no one really plans to suffer, themselves. Not intentionally. Most can deal with suffering by keeping it at a distance! Having a buffer zone. I call it “The Suffer Buffer”! To deal with suffering through money, pills, even ignoring or being distant to others. Or, just plain shutting down. You know, I never planned on getting sick and changing everyone’s lives around me….tears…and becoming a distant figure in their tapestry of life. Even in mine! But, I do still PLAN on changing lives around me THROUGH the suffering! Getting up close and personal. Intentionally. “Getting up” is the key phrase. I can’t get up close and personal without “getting up”! And the only way I know how is to put it all out there. I can attest to the fact that suffering does increase faith. If you draw closer to God IN it. No! Nobody really likes being IN suffering. But, like Jesus was saying to his disciples about the children who were being inquisitive and wanting to be around him. He told them that they are no bother. Do not suffer or hinder them to get to know me. To get close to me. That’s how we should be. With Him. And, with others. Anyways, I thank you guys all for allowing me to share our music and my stories and not hindering me in putting it all out there. It can be difficult, sometimes, to be such an open transparent book. Sometimes, I just gotta slam it shut and hide on the shelf for a moment or two. To keep from suffering for a few moments. Sometimes, you really can't judge a book by it's cover. I love for you guys to come to my stories. And, reading them from cover to cover. And, taking time with our music. It brings joy in the midst of suffering. And, don’t think I don’t know that some of you have suffered through my stories! PIMP LOL. Now, go! Make plans! Go ahead and leave the “The SUFFER BUFFER” behind you and leap into “The UNKNOWN”! As you can see in my photodrama, I am dripping from being in “The “SUFFER BUFFER”, but sometimes we just gotta leave it behind us and head into “The UNKNOWN”. Jump in with both feet. Go ahead and get wet. Not just with tears of suffering, but tears of joy. The water of life… I hope you have increased from this... Trace
